VUU'S JUNOT NAMED VICE-CHAIR OF COSIDA NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

Jim Junot, Sports Information Director of Virginia Union
University, has been named Vice-Chair of the National Technology
Committee of the College Sports Information Directors of America
(CoSIDA).
Junot became VUU's Sports Information Director on July
1. He had previously served as Virginia State University's
SID for the past three years and spent four years at VUU before
that.
The appointment came during CoSIDA's National Workshop in San
Francisco, Cal., on July 5.
Junot has served on the CoSIDA Technology Committee since
2007, and has had several articles concerning new technological
advances in the field of Sports Information during the past three
years.
Junot will serve as Vice-Chair along with Chad Jackson of
Armstrong Atlantic State University.
