ECSU's Emory selected to attend NCAA Administrative Institute

April Emory, sports information director at Elizabeth City State
University, has been selected to attend the NCAA/NACWAA Institute
for Administrative Advancement, June 2-6 in Denver, CO.
Co-sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association and National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators, the institute is designed to provide education and information on the History of Women's Athletics and Title IX; prepare female athletics administrators to manage issues currently facing intercollegiate athletics administrators; improve leadership skills; develop management skills and enhance self-actualization and awareness.
Emory, who recently completed a 5-year stint on the Board of Directors of the College Sports Information Directors of America, was one of just 80 participants selected nationwide.
The NCAA/NACWAA IAA has been described as an empowering experience that provides the tools to enhance participants’ marketability, professional status, and knowledge.
