Saint Paul’s College Tennis Coach, Joseph Carey, was selected to be one of five umpires representing Virginia at the USSSA Girls World Series for 12, 13 and 14-year olds. This event took place in Orlando, FL, July 24-31. The fast-pitch softball tournament event featured 125 teams from around the country, and was played at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
Carey is a substitute teacher for Greensville County Schools and the Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach at Saint Paul’s College. The SPC Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams have been the winningest NCAA team in the Saint Paul’s College Athletic Department for the past 3 years.
