National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA) celebrated its 27th Annual National Convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Sacramento, California. Nearly 400 attendees enjoyed the welcome party, auction, events, sessions, keynotes and awards presentations.

During the convention, Shaw University Associate Athletics Director Dianthia Ford-Kee received the Division II Administrator of the Year Award while former CIAA Compliance Coordinator and current NCAA Director of Division I Women's Basketball Jacqie Carpenter received the Nell Jackson Award.

The Administrator of the Year Award is presented to NACWAA members for significant contributions made as an administrator of intercollegiate athletics. This award recognizes administrative excellence and is presented annually to members in NCAA Divisions I-A, I-AA, I-AAA; II; III; NAIA/Junior/ Community Colleges and Conferences/Organizations.
