VSU's FREEMAN, PEGUES SELECTED FOR NCAA SAAC LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Virginia State University's Danay Freeman and Michael Pegues have been selected to take part in the 2008 NCAA National Student-Athlete Leadership Development Conference, to be held May 25-29 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.

Freeman & Pegues

Freeman is a senior outfielder on the Lady Trojan softball team, while Pegues is a freshman defensive back on the Trojan football team.

The 2008 event will be conducted in two conferences - the first will be May 25 to 27 and the second will be May 27 to 29. Each division will have the opportunity to send 233 student-athletes to participate.

Danay Freeman will participate in the first conference, while Pegues will participate in the second conference.
