FSU Director of Athletics appointed to NACDA Executive
Committee
Dr. Edward McLean will represent College Division District
3

Westlake, OH - The National Association of Collegiate Directors
of Athletics (NACDA) has chosen Fayetteville State's Director of
Athletics Dr. Edward McLean to serve on its Executive Committee
beginning in June. Dr. McLean will serve as the College Division 3
representative
from June of 2009 until June 2013. District Three is comprised of
Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,
Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North and South Carolina,
Tennessee, and Virginia.
Dr. McLean is widely respected by his peers for in 1996-'97 and
2004-'05; they honored him CIAA Athletic Director of the Year.
Accomplishments by Dr. McLean are numerous including being named
the CIAA President (1999-2002), Chairperson for both the NCAA
National Football Committee for Division II (1998-2002) and the
NCAA Southern Regional Advisory Football Committee (1994-1998), and
as President of the CIAA Athletic Directors' Association from
2004-2006.
