VSU'S Thompson to be inducted into Delaware Hall of Fame

VSU'S THOMPSON TO BE INDUCTED INTO DELAWARE HALL OF FAME

Virginia State University's Gene Thompson, Head Coach of the Men's Tennis Team and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach, has been selected for induction into the Delaware Afro-American Sports Hall of Fame.

Thompson, a 1966 graduate of Elizabeth City State University, will be inducted on April 18th in Dover, Delaware.

Thompson has been the head coach of the VSU Men's Tennis Team since 2002 and was the head men's and women's tennis coach at Lincoln (Pa.) University for 10 years prior to coming to VSU.
