Former AD Curtis Williams Succumbs to Cancer

Dr. W. Curtis Williams, former athletic director for school in the CIAA, SIAC and SWAC, died last week of cancer.
He was eulogized Saturday in Montgomery, Alabama and will be
eulogized again Monday in Brunswick, Georgia.
Williams spent his entire career at HBCU's, as an education administrator, athletic director or both.
He guided athletics at Alabama State, Albany State, Stillman, Texas Southern and Elizabeth City State.
He had just retired May 29 of this year.
Monday's service will be held at the First Friendship Baptist Church, 1010 Lee Street in Brunswick. The viewing will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. along with an Omega Psi Phi Memorial. The service will start at 11:00 a.m. with the burial at Greenwood Cemetery, 3009 Newcastle Street, Brunswick, Georgia 31520. Following the burial, a repass will be held in the church fellowship hall.
