Toyota announces Final Call for Green Contest at HBCUs
Automaker invites Students to submit Green Ideas Online by January 17, 2011

Toyota is offering students at Historically Black Colleges and
Universities (HBCUs) the opportunity to improve sustainability on
their campuses with the newly launched Toyota Green Initiative
(TGI) Green Contest. One contest Grand Prize Winner will
receive a one-year lease of a 2011 Toyota Prius and a Tree Park for
their HBCU campus.
Students within the CIAA conference can enter the contest and create a personalized plan for a sustainable community service project on their campus by visiting www.ToyotaGreen.com by January 17, 2011. Full contest details are available at https://Contest.ToyotaGreen.com/?page=rules.
One currently enrolled student from each of the thirteen (13) CIAA campuses will be selected as a semifinalist to lead their campus to a greener tomorrow as they compete with the schools in their conference.
The TGI is an environmental stewardship platform designed to empower HBCU students and alumni on the benefits of adopting a sustainable lifestyle.
