At Hampden-Sydney, Hodge was responsible for all facets of the cross country program, including recruiting, practice and meet organization, and budget management. During Hodge's second season, the Tigers improved their Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) standing by two spots, finishing in 7th place. The Tigers' 2010-2011 recruiting class (6), Hodge's first, was one of the largest in program history.
Prior to his stint at Hampden-Sydney, Hodge served as Sports Director Intern at the Arthur Jordan YMCA in Indianapolis, IN. There, Hodge coordinated youth and adult sports leagues, handled marketing efforts for the sports program, and assisted with youth sports camp.
Hodge is a 2004 graduate of Grove City College (PA), where he majored in History. During his time with the Wolverines, Hodge was a three-time All-Conference performer for the track and field team, leading them to four Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships while competing in the triple jump and 800 meter run. After his time at Grove City, Hodge earned his Master's Degree in Sport Management from Slippery Rock University (PA).
