VUU's Johnson Selected for NCAA/NACWAA Institute

Felicia Johnson, Associate Athletic Director, Senior Woman
Administrator and Assistant Women's Softball Coach at Virginia
Union University, has been selected to attend the NCAA/NACWAA
Institute for Administrative Advancement, to be held on June 12-16
in Atlanta, Ga.
Johnson, in her third year as Associate Athletic Director, is one
of only 80 selected by the National Association of Collegiate Women
Athletic Administrators from a field consisting of applications
from the whole of Division I, II and III of the NCAA.
The program will:
- · Provide education and information on the History of Women's Athletics and Title IX;
- · Prepare female athletics administrators to manage issues currently facing intercollegiate athletics administrators;
- · Improve leadership skills;
- · Develop management skills;
- · Enhance self-actualization and awareness.
