Athletic Banners Go Up on VUU Campus

Banners featuring student-athletes from Virginia Union University athletic teams are now up in the center of the VUU campus in Richmond, Va.  The banners feature student-athletes from the football, volleyball and men's and women's cross-country teams and were installed on August 10, 2011.

The banners are made of weather-resistant vinyl, and were designed and installed by Fastsigns of Richmond, located at 6213 West Broad Street.

The banners show the student-athletes on one side, and 2011 football, cross-country and volleyball schedules on the other.

The banners are located in the quad outside the Henderson Center and Ellison Hall.

The banners will remain up throughout the fall sports season, and then be replaced with winter sports, followed by the spring sports at VUU.
