a leader within the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association,
NCAA Division II and the community.”
Wilson will be responsible for overseeing all athletics development
and marketing initiatives including the annual fund, major and
planned giving, and corporate sponsorships. Wilson will also work

(NCCU). In his role as Assistant Director, he was responsible for
assisting primarily with the day-to-day operation of the Eagle

Champps Americana, which is the current home of their weekly

Master’s in Athletics Administration while serving as the
Director of Basketball Operations for the NCCU Men’s
Basketball team. He was responsible for the daily administration of
the program and assisted with student-athlete development,
community involvement, travel and NCAA compliance issues.
Prior to his professional career, Wilson attended Duke University
where he was a 3-year letterman in football under then Head Coach
Ted Roof. He graduated in 2006 after completing a major in
Philosophy and minor in African American studies. After graduation,
he gained valuable legal experience in the public and private
sectors serving as a legal assistant intern with both the Durham
and Alamance District Attorney's Offices.
Wilson also worked as a transactional sports paralegal with one of
the top Boston-based law firms in Ropes & Gray, LLP where he
handled various tax and record keeping responsibilities for coach's
limited liability companies. He also conducted legal research for
negotiations for Tony Dungy's succession contract prior to his
retirement as the Head Coach for NFL's Indianapolis Colts.
