Spring Sports Fever Continues:
CIAA Baseball All-Conference Team and Rookie Team

Hampton, VA... The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association in conjunction with the CIAA Baseball Coaches Association announces its 2007 Baseball All-CIAA and CIAA Rookie Teams. The CIAA Baseball Championship will begin on April 19, on the campus of Virginia State University with games beginning at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm.
Averill Bryant (SU), Nick Johnson (ECSU) and Mike Grant (SU) are repeat honorees from the 2006 season, while North Carolina Central landed four student-athletes on the All-CIAA team in their first year back with baseball since 1975.
The 2007 Player and Rookie of the Year will be announced during the Baseball Social at Virginia State University on Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
