Former VSU Trojan helps Rangers get to World Series

Although a late roster move prevented him from playing in the World
Series, former Virginia State pitcher Clay Rapada can take credit
for helping the Texas Rangers get to Major League Baseball's
final.
Rapada, a left-hander who attended Deep Creek High in Tidewater, Virginia, made three appearances in the ALCS against the Yankees. The 29-year-old faced one batter in each outing giving up a hit, a walk and striking out one.
