Ingram of Saint Augustine’s College Named BCB National Baseball Player of the Week

Senior shortstop Rashad Ingram (Savannah, Ga.) of Saint
Augustine’s College was selected this week’s BCB
national baseball player of the week.
Ingram stole 10 bases and batted .375 in five games last week. He also had six runs and six hits including two doubles, a triple and one RBI. A computer information systems major, Ingram stole a season-high four bases Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader against East Stroudsburg.
This is the first BCB weekly award for Ingram, who leads the Falcons in stolen bases (10), hits (9), runs scored (8), doubles (3) and walks (4) this season. Ingram is the team’s second-leading batter (.429).
