St. Aug's Ingram Selected Black College Baseball Co-National Player of the Week

Rashad Ingram of Saint Augustine's College was named Black College Baseball co-national player of the week Monday night for the week ending April 3.

This is the second BCB co-national player of the week award this season for Ingram, a senior shortstop from Savannah, Ga. Ingram shares this week's award with Agustin Enriquez of Texas College.Rashad Ingram

Ingram led the Falcons to a 3-1 record last week. He drove in five runs on six hits including a triple and home run. Ingram also scored five runs and was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts.

Against Winston-Salem State in Game 1, Ingram was 2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs scored, a triple and one stolen base. Against Chowan in Game 1, Ingram was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. The Falcons won both games.

The team's lead-off hitter, Ingram is the NCAA Division II leader in stolen bases (64) and runs (58). He ranks sixth in the nation in hits (60) and base on balls (33).
