St. Aug's Ingram Selected Black College Baseball Co-National

Rashad Ingram of Saint Augustine's College was named Black College
Baseball co-national player of the week Monday night for the week
ending April 3.
This is the second BCB co-national player of the week award this
season for Ingram, a senior shortstop from Savannah, Ga. Ingram
shares this week's award with Agustin Enriquez of Texas
College.
Ingram led the Falcons to a 3-1 record last week. He drove in five
runs on six hits including a triple and home run. Ingram also
scored five runs and was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts.
Against Winston-Salem State in Game 1, Ingram was 2-for-3 with one
RBI, two runs scored, a triple and one stolen base. Against Chowan
in Game 1, Ingram was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer. The Falcons won
both games.
The team's lead-off hitter, Ingram is the NCAA Division II leader
in stolen bases (64) and runs (58). He ranks sixth in the nation in
hits (60) and base on balls (33).
Started in 2002, BCB is dedicated to the promotion of black college
baseball teams, the academic institutions and collegiate baseball.
