Saint Augustine's College Ranked Sixth In Atlantic Region Baseball Poll

Chowan comes in at #9

Saint Augustine's College is ranked sixth in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Division II Atlantic Region Top 10 poll, which was released Monday.

The Falcons moved up one spot from seventh last week. They received 46 votes and one first-place vote.

The Falcons finished the regular season 34-16 overall, their second straight 30-win season. They are currently second in the CIAA at 24-4.

Chowan is the other CIAA member ranked in the region. The Hawks are ninth in the poll with 29 votes. CIAA member Winston-Salem State is in the receiving votes category with four votes.

The Falcons are set to defend their conference crown at the CIAA Baseball Championships, which will be held Thursday thru Saturday. The site is Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va.
