Comments:
Ingram almost hit for the cycle in a 12-4 win over Shaw in the
first game of a doubleheader last week. He led off the second game
with a solo home run to ignite the Falcons in a 10-3 win. The
NCAA Division II leader in steals, was 13-13 in stolen bases in six
games last week.

Comments:
Garrett pitched a nine inning, two-hitter game against Virginia
State on March 26. He struck out seven and did not walk any Trojans
in the Hawks’ 2-1 victory.

Comments:
Pierce was 2-4 with five RBIs, including a double and one run
scored in an 8-1 win over Virginia State, last week. Ranked
seventh in Division II in stolen bases, Pierce took nine bases in
six games.

Comments:
White had 11 putouts and 13 assists in six games as a second
baseman last week. He had four put-outs and one assist in a
10-3 win against Shaw. He also logged two put-outs and three
assists in a 5-4 win over Claflin.
Coach of the Week:
Charles Whitaker, St, Augustine’s
College
Whitaker directed the Falcons to a 6-0 record last week; including CIAA doubleheader sweeps of Virginia State and Shaw. The Falcons currently lead the league standings at 18-2 and are two wins away from reaching 30 wins for the second consecutive year.
