CIAA Welcomes New Team and New Season: Football Press Conference & Luncheon

Hampton, VA… The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association cordially invites the media to its annual Football Press Conference and Luncheon to be held on July 21, 2005, at 11:30pm in Jones Dining Hall, Virginia State University.

This year will mark the return of St. Paul’s College to the conference football ranks after being absent from sponsorship since 1987. For the past two years, St. Paul’s College has participated in club football.

Each CIAA Head Football Coach will be present at this event to give their season’s outlook and prediction of this year’s order of finish. The conference office will also release the All-CIAA Pre-Season Football Team as decided by the Football Coaches Association. After the luncheon, coaches will be available for interviews and one-on-one interaction.
