Anticipation for Pioneer Bowl heightens as tickets go on sale

Hampton, VA…. The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) prepare to kick-off the HBCU bowl season with the 8th Annual Pioneer Bowl tickets available for sale on Monday, November 21, 2005, 10:00am.

The Pioneer Bowl will be held on December 3, 2005 at the Memorial Stadium, Charlotte, NC. Kickoff is set for 2:00pm.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Student tickets are $10 with a valid school ID. A corporate rate is available for groups of 20 or more at $10 per ticket. Join the Toys for Tots promotion on the day of the game by bringing a new packaged toy to the game and receive $5 off admission.

The Pioneer Bowl features a match up between, the CIAA Championship runner-up, the Bowie State University Bulldogs and, the SIAC regular season runner-up, the Tuskegee University Golden Tigers, both from the nation’s only Division II historically black athletic conferences.
