CIAA Player Accepts Invitation to Play in the Magnolia Gridiron Classic

North Carolina Central running back Greg Pruitt, Jr. has accepted an invitation to play in the Magnolia Gridiron Classic. 

The game features a team of Division 1A All-Stars against an all-star team of Division 1-AA, II, III and NAIA members. The 2006 Magnolia Gridiron Classic is set to kickoff at 12 p.m. Pacific Time and will be played on December 23, 2006 at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, in Jackson, Mississippi. 

The Magnolia Gridiron Classic will be shown tape delayed on Comcast Sports Southeast. First airing will be on game day, December 23rd from 4-7:00 p.m. and the second airing will be in the a.m. on December 24th, time to be announced.

The 1-A roster will be assembled in upcoming weeks pending bowl game participation.
