In Saturday's 21-10 win over Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC, Moore forced a fumble in the Broncos' end zone that was recovered for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to kill the chance of a late rally by the home team. Mendez's career long of 63 yards came at the perfect time in the Vikings 21-10 win over Fayetteville State Saturday. Late in the fourth quarter the 63-yard punt pinned FSU on their own 4-yard line which led to a fumble recovery and score in the end zone on the very next play to secure the win for the Vikings. Mendez totaled 4 punts for 207 yards (avg of 41.4) including two landing inside the 20 yard line. He went 3-for-3 in extra point attempts and amassed 225 kickoff yards on 4 kickoffs for an average of 56.2 yards per kickoff.
