Classics Sports Radio Network to Broadcast CIAA Championship Game

Fuquay-Varina, NC - Classics Sports Radio Network will broadcast the CIAA Championship Game between Shaw and Elizabeth City State live from Durham, NC on Saturday, November 8. The Classic Sports Radio Network logo broadcast will begin with the pre-game show at 12:30 p.m. ET. As of this release, radio stations scheduled to carry the game include WAUG-AM 750 in Raleigh, NC servicing Raleigh-Durham, NC, WCPS-AM 760 servicing Rocky Mount, Tarboro and Wilson, NC, WELS-AM 1010 servicing Kinston and Goldsboro, NC, WBTE-AM 990 servicing Williamston and Windsor, NC, and WXKL-AM 1290 servicing Sanford, NC. Listeners in Greenville, NC can listen to the game on WCPS-AM 760, WELS-AM 1010, or WBTE-AM 990. Other stations will be added prior to the game. The game can also be heard online at www.classicsportsradio.com.

In this its inaugural season, CSRN has provided live play-by-play broadcasts of the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Orlando, the John Merritt Classic in Nashville, the Southern Heritage Classic in Memphis, the Atlanta Football Classic , and the State Fair Classic in Dallas. Other scheduled dates in 2008 for live broadcasts on CSRN include November 15 and November 22.

CSRN is also scheduled to broadcast the SWAC Championship Game on December 13 pitting the Eastern Division winner against the Western Division winner. The broadcast will begin with the pre-game show at 12:30 p.m. CT.
