Champion in Diversity to Address Football Participants: CIAA Football Championship Luncheon

Hampton, VA…The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Championship Season will continue this Friday with the Football Championship Awards Luncheon scheduled for 12 Noon at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley.

This year’s event will feature the 2010 All-CIAA Football Team and selected Players of the Year.  Eric Watson, Vice President of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for Delhaize America is slated to address the group.

Delhaize America is comprised of the Food Lion Family of Banners (Food Lion, Bloom, Harveys, Reid’s), Bottom Dollar Food, Hannaford Brothers, and Sweetbay Supermarkets.

Watson is responsible for the development and implementation of Delhaize America’s diversity and inclusion business strategy. He is also responsible for leadership and associate development, and measuring progress in the areas of culture and environment, diverse supplier development, minority recruitment and retention, education and training, and assisting in growing and sustaining a diverse market presence.
 
The Football Championship Luncheon is by invitation only, however we welcome media to cover this event and are providing a 30-minute post luncheon opportunity for coach and player interviews.
