Other Notables…
Notes of Interest:  Lincoln's game against Howard marked the renewal of a great black-college football rivalry. The two institutions met every year from 1907-1960 except 1943 before the LU program was disbanded following the 1960 season. The series now stands at 24-24-8. This was also Lincoln's first football game against a Division I-FCS opponent since the reinstatement of the program in 2008.

Notes of Interest:  Walter Sanders (SAC) has the top three single-game rushing yards for the Falcons in the modern era. His career best is 262 yards against Chowan in 2008. He also rushed for 165 yards against Saint Paul's this season. Sanders has gained over 100 yards for the fourth straight game.
