Hartly, DE –The Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) announces national player of the week fan poll week five nominees.  Each week, HSRN will announce a national player of the week from both the top DI-FCS and Division II action.

The top performance each week will be selected and the HBCU fans across the country will get a chance to cast their vote for who they think had the best game.  The Fan Poll is designed to get fans involved with the excitement of the HBCU college football action.  Fans are asked to log on to HSRN.com and cast their vote for the top performance.  Fans can vote on the poll today (Mon., Oct. 3) thru Wednesday (Oct. 5) until 11 am CT.  The CIAA nominees are below:

Nicholas Cooper – Winston Salem St.  – RB – 6’0, 245 – R-SR/Clinton, NC
Nic Cooper continued his rushing assault on the CIAA, finishing the afternoon with 203 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries.  It was his second 200+ yard rushing game as the Rams defeated J.C. Smith 28-10.

Quinshon Odom – Shaw – QB – 6’3, 190 – SO/Lakeland, FL
Odom completed 15 of 24 passes for 246 yards (0 INT) and three touchdowns.  He had touchdown passes for 17, 22 and 10 yards.  The Bears defeated Livingstone 54-0.
