WSSU Rams Earn First Round Playoff Bye

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The #4 Ranked Winston-Salem State University will get a first round bye when the NCAA Division II Football Playoffs begin this week, as announced by the NCAA this afternoon.
The CIAA Champion WSSU Rams will host a second round playoff game on Saturday, November 26th in Bowman Gray Stadium.
WSSU is the #1 seed from Super Region 1, and will face the winner of the #4 Elizabeth City State/#5 California (PA) game which will be played on Saturday, November 19th.

All contests shall start at noon local time. Other times may be established if approved by the committee.
The championship game will be played Dec.17, at 11 a.m. ET at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence, Ala., and will be broadcast live on ESPN2 HD/ESPN3.com.
