MCNEILL NAMED TO DAKTRONICS, INC., ALL-SUPER REGION 1 TEAM
ECSU Tailback Will Now Move Forward For All-American Consideration

WEST CHESTER, PA- Elizabeth City State University tailback has been named to the Daktronics, Inc. All-Super Region 1 Offensive First team.
Two student-athletes from CIAA member institutions were voted to the team; McNeill as a member of the First Team offense while Daron Jones of Lincoln (Pa.) University made the Second Team Defense.
As a member of the First Team, McNeill now moves on to the national ballot for All-American consideration.
This past season he was named CIAA Offensive Player of the Year after finishing 2011 as the conference’s regular season rushing champion. By the close of his junior campaign he had eclipsed 1,000 yards for the second straight season, became ECSU’s all-time leading rusher while leading the CIAA in touchdowns, rushing touchdowns, yards rushing, scoring and scoring touchdowns. With one more year of eligibility left, McNeill already owns 14 combined ECSU and CIAA records.
The All-American Team will be released next Tuesday, December 13th.
