SOUTHFIELDS, NY- Chowan University's Robert Holland has garnered another pre-season accolade this week. 

The Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL) has announced their selections for the 2012 D2 vs. NAIA Senior Bowl Pre-Season All-American Football Teams.  

Holland was tabbed Honorable Mention. This marks one of several pre-season accolades that he has earned this fall including: Pre-Season All-CIAA,  First Team USA College Football NCAA Division II Pre-Season All-American Team,  and USA College Football NCCAA Pre-Season All-American Team. 

Holland and the rest of the Hawks begin their season on September 1st at 6:00 pm in Salisbury, NC to take on the Livingstone College Blue Bears.   They travel to Lexington, VA to compete against Virginia Military Institute on September 8th, and return home on September 15th to host Shorter University.  

The CDFL is dedicated to creating top quality showcase experiences for football players with a goal to get them a “second chance” scouting look.  Members of the 2012 D2 vs. NAIA Senior Bowl Pre-Season All-American Football Team are eligible to compete in the 2^nd Annual D2 vs. NAIA Senior Bowl on December 15^th in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
