Virginia Union University's Tabyus Taylor raced 32 yards for a touchdown in the final minute, then Jeffrey Souza tacked on the extra point to give the offense a 35-34 win over the defense in the annual VUU Spring Football Scrimmage on Saturday, April 14, in Hovey Field in Richmond, VA.

VUU's head coach, Dr. Alvin Parker, played three quarterbacks in the game, Darius Taylor, Eric Caldwell and Bryson Stukes, with Taylor and Caldwell getting the lion's share of the snaps.

Taylor rushed for over 100 yards in the game with Coby Williams also seeing a lot of carries in the scrimmage.

The defense led for most of the game, leading by 10 points in the third quarter before the offense took charge of the game.

The Panthers open the 2018 regular season when they face Seton Hill University at 1:00 p.m. in Hovey Field in Richmond, Va.

Football season passes are on sale now at the VUU Department of Athletics in the Belgium Building and at the C.D. King Building in Richmond, VA.
