Udo Leads After Day One of WSSU Golf Invitational

Senior Leads All Players, Shooting 5-over-par 76

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - March 17, 2008 - The Golden Bulls of Johnson C. Smith University are taking part in the two-day golf tournament hosted by Winston-Salem State University. Enobong Udo of Johnson C. Smith University leads the individual medalist portion of the 25-player event with a first round score of 76, only five over par. JCSU the only Division II school taking part in the event. South Carolina State University, North Carolina Central University and Hampton University are the other institutions.  

All five teams return to action on Tuesday from Winston-Lake Golf Course in Winston-Salem, NC as final-round action tees off at 9 a.m.
