CIAA Begins 2005-2006 Basketball Season Announcing Pre-Season Picks in Charlotte

Charlotte, NC - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced its 2005-2006 Men's and Women's Basketball Pre-Season Picks at the CIAA Basketball Press Conference held at the Charlotte Convention Center this afternoon.

This season's picks feature familiar faces from the 2005 All-Conference Team on both the men's and women's sides. Cassie King of North Carolina Central University and Rookie of the Year, Celeste Trahan of Elizabeth City State University are two of the returning bright spots for this year.

Virginia Union University's Darius Hargrove and Winston-Salem State University's Audly Wehner are amongst the top returning student-athletes for the men.

The All-Conference Pre-Season Team and the Predicted Order of Finish are as follows:
