JCSU Men to Play Georgia College & State in the First Round of Regional Tournament

CHARLOTTE, NC – (March 6, 2006)– The #3 Johnson C. Smith University men's basketball team (23-7) will take on #6 Georgia College and State University Bobcats (20-8) at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2006 in Richmond, VA (Arthur Ashe Center) in the first round of the NCAA South Atlantic Region tournament.   

If successful, JCSU will move on to play the winner of the #7 Presbyterian/#2 Armstrong-Atlantic State game at 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2006.
