Men’s Player of the Week
Daniel Jackson–Shaw University, 6’6”, 210, SR, Forward, Lake Wales, FL
Jackson scored a season-high 30 points and added eight rebounds and five assists as Shaw upset Western Division contender Johnson C. Smith 74-69.

Men’s Rookie of the Week
Anthony Hilliard–Elizabeth City State, 6’3”, 185, FR, Forward, Fayetteville, NC
Hilliard, who was named to the CIAA All-Rookie team this week, averaged 8.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals in three games this week. In the Vikings’ 80-76 overtime win over Chowan, Hilliard contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.

Coach of the Week
Shawn Walker-Elizabeth City State University
Coach Walker guided his team to wins over North Carolina Central, Chowan and Virginia State this week as the Vikings evened their record at 12-12 and 7-7 in the CIAA.
