Men's Coach of the Week

Shawn Walker, Elizabeth City State University

Walker led the Vikings past defending national champions Barton College 91-70 as ECSU remains perfect at home. The win avenges an 83-82 overtime loss to the Bulldogs in last year's season opener in Wilson, North Carolina and gives Coach Walker a victory over his former coach. Barton Head Coach Ron Lievense was an assistant at Campbell University where Walker played his first year of collegiate basketball.
