Four CIAA Men's Basketball Teams ranked in NCAA Div II Atlantic Region

Indianapolis, IN – Four CIAA teams have been ranked in the first NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional rankings of the season.
Bowie State leads the conference quartet at #2 followed by Johnson C. Smith in fourth, Winston-Salem State (6th) and Elizabeth City State (10th)
West Liberty University of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference was ranked #1
The regional rankings are used to determine who will qualify for the NCAA DII Tournament. The top eight teams in the region go to the tournament, with the top-ranked team in the region hosting the first three rounds of the tournament.
