Player of the Week -
Notes of Interest:
Thornhill helped the Golden Bulls launch to a 2-0 start after
finishing with a game and career-high 40 points with four assists
in a 103-83 win over Newberry College. Thornhill set a new JCSU
record for the most three-pointers made in a single game with 10,
the previous record of nine was held by Columbus “Green
Light” Parker (1990) and Antoine Sims (2002). He was also
named All-Classic MVP for his performance.

Notes of Interest:
Sophomore transfer Trevin Parks was the Golden Bulls’ second
leading scorer this week, averaging 13.3 points per game. Parks
dropped 17 points in a 103-83 victory over Newberry College and
also scored double figures against Bowie State (10) and St. Paul's
(13) in the Fresh Coast Classic.
