Week - Notes of Interest:
Hyman continues to contribute big numbers for the
Bulldogs. In just two games this week, Hyman averaged 18.5 points
per game, shooting 54 percent from the field and averaged 12
rebounds and five blocks per game.

Week - Notes of Interest:
Kindred averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5
steals in two games. In addition to 10 points and 13 rebounds in a
close win over Livingstone, Kindred had 13 points and four steals
against Fayetteville State.

the Week - Notes of Interest:
McLendon has become a scoring force for the Bears
in the final weeks of the season. In Shaw's two critical divisional
wins over Johnson C. Smith and Fayetteville State, McLendon
averaged a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Against
JCSU, he had 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Coach of the Week
Cleo Hill, Jr.
Shaw University
Coach Cleo Hill, Jr., led his Shaw Bears down to the wire with two
critical divisional wins. After wins over Johnson C. Smith and
Fayetteville State, his Bears are in sole possession of first place
in the division. In both games, the Bears trailed in the second
half, but Hill guided the team back on track and brought home the
wins.
