Player of the Week - Notes of Interest:
Sharpe had an outstanding week for Lincoln. He set a career high for points and rebounds in a win against Chowan on Thursday with 21 points and 10 boards. On Saturday at #21 Bowie State, Sharpe scored a career high 22 points. He shot 52 percent from the floor and nearly averaged a double-double; 19 points and 8.3 rebounds.

Scott, a Hagerstown (MD) Community College transfer, recorded a career-high 18 points to lead Bowie State to a 69-63 televised victory over Lincoln (PA).

Rookie of the Week - Notes of Interest:
Shelton scored a career-high 22 points; shattering his previous high of 15 points; making all four of his 3-point attempts, in leading Fayetteville State to a road win at Livingstone. Shelton added 12 points against Virginia State after leading all players with five assists; matching a career-high, in the Broncos' upset of Johnson C. Smith on Monday.
COACH OF THE WEEK
Cleo Hill, Jr., Shaw University
Cleo Hill, Jr. led his Shaw Bears to their 20th win this
season and their 16th straight win with victories over Livingstone
and Winston-Salem State. In three years, Hill took a one-win
program and has turned it around into a program with two straight
20-win seasons. This year they hit that mark with four games to go.
The Bears also moved up in the national polls to #12; their highest
ranking since 2002-2003.

Coach Smith has led his BSU Lady Bulldogs to the first place
position in the North; winning four straight, five of the last six
and included wins last week over Chowan (63-51), Elizabeth City
