VUU's Guy Walton Selected to Coach USTA Teams

Virginia Union University head men's and women's tennis coach Guy Walton has been selected as a coach for the USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section Teams for the Boys & Girls 14s Zone Team Championships at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.

The USTA National Level II event will be held July 26-31.

Walton's coaching partner is Tim Bainton from Mt. Vernon Racquet Club. Together they will lead the top U.S. players as they compete against teams/players  from the Southern Section and the Middle States.

"Guy was selected based on his excellent coaching record and his dedication to making his players better," said Bonnie J. Vara, Manager of Competitive Tennis/Player Development  for the USTA/Mid-Atlantic Section.
