Shaw's Enitan Named Men's Tennis Regional Coach of the Year

RALEIGH, N.C. – Shaw Head Tennis Coach Sunday Enitan was
named Atlantic Region Men's Tennis Coach of the Year by the
Intercollegiate Tennis Association at an event held May 10, just
prior to the NCAA National Championship Tournament.
Enitan, in his 11th year as Shaw's head coach, led the Bears to the top ranking in the Atlantic Division with a 25-1 overall record - 14-0 in the CIAA, and a seventh straight CIAA Championship.
The Bears advanced to the NCAA National Championship Tournament by winning the Atlantic Region Pod 1 with a 5-3 win over Bluefield State. This is Shaw's first trip to the NCAA Championship Tournament, which includes the 16 regional pod winners.
