Into High Gear:
Softball Leads Off with All-Conference and Rookie Teams

Hampton, VA... The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Softball Coaches Association has selected this year's Softball All-CIAA and Rookie Teams. This year's Softball Championship begins on the second day of the CIAA Spring Sports Festival which commences on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 in Petersburg, VA at Virginia State University.
This year's softball first-team returns three student-athletes from last season, two of which hail from North Carolina Central University. The Player and Rookie of the Year will be announced at the CIAA Softball Social on Wednesday, April 18.
