St. Aug's Ferguson Featured in Sports Illustrated Magazine

Standout jumper Kwonya Ferguson of Saint Augustine’s College is featured in the March 26, 2007 edition of Sports Illustrated, a popular national sports magazine.

Ferguson, a senior from Melbourne, FL, is highlighted in the Faces In The Crowd section of the magazine for winning the high jump (5-10 _ ), triple jump (43-6) and long jump (20-3 _) at the 2007 NCAA Division II National Indoor Track and Field Championships held March 8-10 in Boston, MA. Ferguson set a meet record in the triple jump.

Her exploits led the Lady Falcons to the national Division II women’s title. Saint Augustine’s College swept both men’s and women’s national crowns for their 29th track and field championship overall under legendary coach George Williams.
