Shermaine Williams is a sophomore who was Division
II Indoor National Champion while breaking the national record last
year in Mankato (8.23) in the 60m hurdles. She repeated as Indoor
Champion in the event in 2009 and again broke her national record
first at Virginia Tech and again in Houston (8.07).
She led a sweep at the 2009 CIAA Outdoor Championships finishing first ahead of teammates Rosemarie Carty and Nikki Boston
Williams has been ranked #1 in Division II 60m hurdles and 100m hurdles all year (2009).-
Sophomore Leford Green has the top 200m time in
the Division II (20.41), which is currently the 3rd best collegiate
time across all Divisions this year. He was also the most valuable
male track athlete at the 2009 CIAA outdoor Championships.
