Kindred Finishes Ninth In High Jump At USA Nationals

Joe Kindred of Saint Augustine's College (Fuquay-Varina, NC) placed ninth in the men's high jump with a leap of 7-2.50 Sunday (June 28) at the 2009 USA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Ore.

Kindred had the highest jump of any college student-athlete in the event. He is the 2009 NCAA Division II Indoor and Outdoor men's field athlete of the year.
