Boyd Wins Twice At JCSU Invitational

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Jason Boyd of Saint Augustine’s College won the men’s 110 hurdles and was part of the Falcons’ winning 4x100 relay team at the JCSU Invitational track and field meet Saturday hosted by Johnson C. Smith University. The meet was held at Irwin Belk Track.
 
In the 110 hurdles, Boyd ran a time of 14.57 seconds, and teammate Ronnie Griffith finished second in 14.62. In the 4x100 relay, Boyd along with Josh Scott, Richard Boone and Kelly Fisher crossed the finish line first in 41.20 seconds.
 
The Falcons will compete again in the CIAA Championships which will be held Friday and Saturday at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va.
