To qualify for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or higher. She must also have met either NCAA Division II indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standards or have participated in the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships.

Johns majors in business administration and has a 3.629 cumulative GPA. She earned All-America indoor and outdoor honors in the 4x400 relay, and All-America outdoor honors in the 4x100 relay.

Johns earned national All-Academic track honors for the second straight year. An All-CIAA relay performer, Johns is a member of the CIAA Commissioner’s All-Academic team, and she won the Mother Cynthia Pratt Award at Saint Augustine’s College for most outstanding female student-athlete who demonstrated a commitment to public service.

Parris majors in business administration and has a 3.774 cumulative GPA. She claimed All-America outdoor honors in the 4x100 relay. In addition to track and field, Parris is also a key player on the Lady Falcons’ volleyball team. This is the first national All-Academic award for Parris.

The national All-Academic team, which includes Johns and Parris, consists of 276 members from 72 Division II schools. Both runners helped the Lady Falcons win CIAA indoor and outdoor titles in 2010.
