St. Aug and JCSU Women’s Track Receive USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

The Saint Augustine’s College and Johnson C.Smith women’s track & field teams earned NCAA Division II All-Academic status by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Tuesday (Aug. 9).
 
Saint Leo reported the highest cumulative team GPA (3.66) in the nation among Division II women’s teams through the spring 2011 semester. Johnson C. Smith and Nebraska-Kearney followed closely at 3.65, while Truman State had the fourth-best GPA reported at 3.63.

The Lady Falcons posted a 3.153 cumulative grade point average through the spring 2011 semester.

The list consists of 74 Division II schools which had a 3.00 GPA or better. The USTFCCCA Men’s Division II All-Academic teams will be announced Thursday (Aug. 11).
