RALEIGH, NC - Saint Augustine's College recently elevated Covance Mortimer as head volleyball coach after a successful stint as a Lady Falcon assistant coach.
Mortimer was a Lady Falcon assistant from 1995 through 2006. During
that period, the Lady Falcons won five CIAA volleyball titles. His
primary duties as an assistant included game preparation and
statistics.
Mortimer graduated from Saint Augustine's College with a Computer Information Systems degree in 2000.
The Lady Falcons open the season against Wingate University in the Wingate Tournament on Aug. 31, at 5:30 p.m.
